Dear Phi Sig Alumnae



I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Sharon C. Lima, and I am your new Alumnae Director. I was the Public Relations for our chapter for two straight years, and I just changed positions because of you. I feel that Alumnae are an important part of our growing family tree, and that is why I am dedicated to build an even stronger link between the Alumnae and the active sisters.

We all made an oath to this extraordinary organization when we became sisters. During our years as active sisters, we have shared remarkable experiences; we cared more than our hearts could begin to realize. We laughed as Phi Sigs, and we cried as Phi Sigs. And as you grew, and time passed by, you had to choose the path your live would take. So you became a Phi Sigma Sigma Alumnae.

Now I have heard some of you tell me that the new active sisters do not know who you are. But I have to disagree with you on that. Because even though some of us have never met before, I have to tell you that all through our years, you have been a source of so many smiles and so much inspiration for us. Remember that you are what made us the best sorority on campus, and that we are forever sisters. “Once a Phi Sigma Sigma, Always a Phi Sigma Sigma.”

There is why I want you to feel as Phi Sigs again. I am very excited about this coming year! I have many new ideas in store for all of us, starting with our Alumnae/Family Picnic on June 25th, 2000. I also have started an e-newsletter for Phi Sig Alumnae, so please email me with your email address ASAP. Remember that I am here for you, so please call me or send me ideas, suggestions, and opinions for our upcoming year. Thank you so much for your time and I truly look forward to meeting all of you at our picnic! ; D
